METEORITES: Most commonly known as "Shooting Stars". They are rocks from outer space that randomly fall and land on to Earths surface.
- Meteorites may be tiny particles left by a comet. (Also classified as stones, irons, etc)
- Meteorites are in orbit around the Sun.
- Meteorites have been known to be VERY large. Sizes of automobiles to certain sizes of US states!
